The Mixed-Signal Physical Layer (PHY) is the cornerstone of the MIPI standard’s ability to deliver high data rate at low-power. Mixel delivers silicon proven MIPI PHYs NOW, and our customers are going into production with their advanced products incorporating Mixel’s MIPI IP cores.

Additionally,  Mixel has partnered with digital IP providers to offer a complete solution for protocols like the Camera Serial Interface.

Mixel is an active participant in the MIPI Alliance’s PHY working group, contributing to the development of the MIPI PHY standards.

The D-PHY and M-PHY are two variations of PHYs, specifically targeted at mobile products. They offer variable speeds and  multiple power modes so mobile suppliers are able to deliver fast application response and preserve battery life. Their serial architectures with both a source synchronous separate clock and an embedded clock provide designers with choices from simplicity to high performance.
